ISSUE NO.5 SAN JOSÉ

Starting at a young age, Negus was exposed to art because his mom was a painter and would always ask for his opinion on her paintings. His love for creating and showing art has grown ever since and his daily mission is to spread his art all over the streets. From the time he started tagging and painting in the streets, his mom has kept a close eye on his works and lets him know when something gets painted over or gets buffed. Two years ago he turned his love for art towards doing tattoos and eventually opened up his own studio, fittingly named Arte Vida Tattoo. He quickly became one of the more sought after tattoo artists in San José.
