When we met Spencer we filmed a kickflip manual tre flip out three different times because he was unsatisfied with the way he was landing it. Over the course of the next two weeks he managed to get aroud 20 to 25 clips – always motivated, always down for the mission. He may be a suburb kid, but Spencer definitely brings the heat to the city. Check out this full part and be on the look out for him in the years to come.

There are so many different parts to Denver that you could skate almost any kind of spot you can think of. There is a super lively downtown with cutty little grinds and slides around every corner and down every alley. The way Denver is set up makes almost any part of the city accessible by board, bike, train or bus. You can rely on yourself to get around and not have to deal with the hassles of a car.

The old neighborhoods and the convenient way of life make the capital of Colorado one of the most walking, biking and skating friendly cities in the USA. We beat a lot of the summer heat by skating around downtown at night and keeping the day sessions to a minimal.

Coburn Huff spent six of the last seven years shooting on his old Nikon F5 analog film camera. This training helped him be selective with his pictures and not walk around, blasting shotgun rounds of photos hoping one comes out good.
